we are on a boat

We made it to the port and onto our cruise ship right around 4 PM.  We were the last of our group to get on the ship.  We headed to our room to meet up with the rest of the crew.  Conveniently for us it is adjacent to the birthday girl's, Cait, room.

Cait was surprised by the birthday decorations in her room.  We thought it was a nice way to kick off her birthday cruise.

My favorite part was the cake, of course.

The boys didn't waste anytime getting acquainted with the room.  They raided the mini fridge for the nips and mixers faster than we could count to five.

When it came time to muster, Bennett had a melt down.  One of the ship crew put a wrist band on him, which he is supposed to wear the entire cruise.  Bennett hated it.  He wouldn't stop crying so we got to go inside to muster and we had the band taken off his wrist.  He is very happy about losing the wrist band.

As soon as we were done with the muster drill, we headed to Evan's parent's room to watch the ship pull out of the harbor from their balcony.  The weather and view were gorgeous.

The boys were up to their usual shenanigans as usual or fighting over a chair.

It took a while to pull out of the harbor.  We had to wait for three cruise ships to do the same before we could go.  The sun was setting.  But, we got to see an airplane landing on the water.

Finally an hour and a half later we were turned around, facing the ocean and ready to go.  Just in time for dinner.

Goodbye Miami and wifi.  See you in a week!
