We drove to Spencer, NY today to Grandma's house to celebrate Christmas Eve and Day. The traffic was light which made our trip go by quickly. We got there right around dinner time. Grandma made salmon, which brings good luck according to tradition, chicken cutlets with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and yellow rice for dinner. There was an abundance of food as usual. John, Lydia and Volodya (some of my mom's friends) joined us for dinner.
We had a tastey dinner and a great time catching up. Bennett was turning into a pumpkin so he got a bath. He opened a small gift before going to bed.
Santa brought him cute new pajamas to wear tonight. It was hot in the house so we didn't put them on right away. First, Bennett wanted to put out Christmas cookies for Santa before going to bed.
The bedroom was a lot cooler so we got Bennett into his new pajamas.
Someone is getting very sleepy.
Good Night my sweet little boy! Santa is going to bring you lots of nice gifts to open tomorrow. In the meantime, Grandpa decided to pretend to sleep like Bennett downstairs.
He had us all laughing. Can't wait for tomorrow. I think Bennett is going to really enjoy opening his gifts.
Looks like a fun night! Poor B! Hope he was able to sleep even with the anticipation of Santa coming ;) your dad is cray cray. I would've peed my pants
