cozumel, mexico

When we woke up this morning, we were parked in Cozumel, Mexico.

We got off the boat early because our excursion was at 8 AM.  We got some nice family pictures near the dock while waiting for the rest of the group going with us on the Submarine Reef Excursion.

And, we are the three best friends that anybody could have...

This chair was ginormous.

Bennett was in love with this donkey.  He was babbling very energetically at it.

It was so weird to see a Christmas tree here especially in this weather.

Our excursion started out great.  Bennett was really enjoying himself.

He was looking out the window at the fishes and the reef below.

W learned that when the reef is brown it's asleep but when it's purple it's awake.  We saw lots of different fish including a baracuda.  Bennett wanted off the boat after about a half hour.  It was hard to pay attention to the reef out the window when you have to entertain an anxious little toddler.

We hit the beach at Mr. Sancho's Club after the reef excursion ended.  Bennett really enjoyed himself here.  The beach was small but we had beach chairs we could use and it wasn't crowded.

The sand was very coarse.  It was mostly finely ground up sea shells.  I found a pretty flower for Bennett to wear.

I was surprised how long the flower lasted.  He was too busy playing with his shovel to notice.

The beach fun ended around noon.  We had to get back for some lunch and a nap.  Tonight is elegant night on the boat.  We all dressed our best.

The lobster tails were delicious.  So far I am loving the unlimited food supply.  I am also pretty sure baby #2 is on the same page as me.
