grand cayman islands

Our last stop on the cruise through the Western Caribbean is Grand Cayman Island.  We had plans to meet up with Rob and Sue to visit the Turtle Farm and then head over to the Seven Mile Beach.

I wasn't sure what Bennett would think.  He enjoyed looking at the turtles for a few minutes but then was interested in running around more than anything else.

Once we got him so food to feed the turtles, he was hooked and wanted to do nothing else.  He has a really good throwing arm and was doing a great job.

He wasn't happy when we dragged him off to touch some turtles.

But, he really enjoyed it and was very curious.  We all enjoyed this part.

At lunch we met up with the Taylors, Jess and Rob.  They were at the farm as well but on an excursion.  They would get a chance to swim with the turtles after lunch.  We were going to the beach and the Taylors decide to join.  This was a really nice beach with soft sand and clear water.  We had a lot of fun.

No one had as much fun as the boys though.

Tomorrow we are at sea.  I cannot believe how fast this cruise has flown by...

Dinner was special tonight.  Our friend Anna also had a birthday.  We made sure she was getting plenty of free drinks tonight.  The boat crew sang Happy Birthday to her.  I cannot believe we have three people in our group with birthdays this week.

The birthday crew.
