We are going on a Caribbean cruise Saturday.  We decided to fly to Florida a day earlier because when we were booking we were concerned about the weather this winter.  Winters here can be unpredictable.

It also gave us a chance to go visit with Lisa and Michael in Bradenton, FL.  Bennett did great on the flight down.  He really enjoyed looking out the airplane window and pulling down the shade.

We got to Lisa and Michael's house around 11 AM.

It was a lovely day for catching up and since we haven't seen each other in a very long time it went by very quickly.  In the meantime, Bennett kept busy by playing with all of their things.  His favorite was the balloon we got from our grocery store trip to Publix.

For dinner we went out to a restaurant on the beach.  We wanted to take Lisa and Michael out to celebrate their recent engagement.  It was a nice night for eating out on the patio.  We really enjoyed the delicious seafood at the restaurant.  The salmon tasted so fresh that it just melted in my mouth with each bite. 

Bennett enjoyed the comfortable chairs more than the food.  I think he ate half a roll.

The day went by way too fast but in a good way.  Happy Engagement to Lisa and Michael!
