It was a hot day. The sun felt nice.
We took our time and also made a lot of pit stops for drinks and food.
Rob and Nick heard the street food in Belize City is amazing so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to snack on some when we passed a stand.
The food was indeed no joke amazing. My personal favorite was rice and beans. The chicken was very good as well. It practically melted in my mouth. Oh, and I didn't try the pigs feet.
The boys had no interest in food.
They loved peaking into the fenced in areas.
And, throwing rocks down the drain.
Can you see mine and Cait's shadow? I am so clever. Wink wink
Shay and Brian are a match made in heaven.
The boys were breaking down after lunch because it was getting late. We got back to the boat for some much needed naps. They felt much better afterwards and we had fun pillow fighting. Nolan and Bennett loved this!
Tonight we were going out to dinner at the steakhouse for Brian's birthday. Cait's mom and in-laws were taking the boys for the night. We all dressed really nice again. Cait wanted to take some pictures on the deck of the boat. It was a great idea. The sun was just starting to set.
Pictures turned out great with a beautiful backdrop.
Thanks for sharing these to Cait. I forgot my nice camera at home. Fail!
The dinner was amazing! The food was top notch. I had the escargot (which was by the far the best I had so far), dinner rolls, french onion soup, caprese salad, lobster tail, cheesecake and birthday cake. I want to come here every night.
It was nice not having to worry about the boys running around. They did really well for the grandparents. Bennett fell in love with Evan's dad who is also named Bennett but goes by Scott.
Happy Birthday to Brian! Wishing you many more great years to come.
