scotland fun

Today we arrived in Glasgow, Scotland for our 10 day vacation in Europe.  We are visiting with Andrena, Johny and Autumn for the next three days.  We got in right after lunch.  So after settling in we went out to play.  Bennett was ready to stretch his legs and Autumn was excited to take Bennett to one of her favorite playgrounds.

A short while later we went to a different park with a stable, multiple walking tails, a playground and a gallery.

Everybody got to touch the lucky horseshoe at the stable.

The gallery was a private collection of a wealthy businessman until he donated it to the State of Scotland.

Bennett enjoyed a nice nap while mommy and daddy browsed about the gallery.

My favorite were the intricately beaded bowls and plates.  I cannot imagine how long that must have taken someone to do.

Autumn and Bennett were ready to play again after his nap.  They had fun playing with the zip line, the swings and a spinney bowl of sorts.

Everyone was getting hungry and tired so we headed back for dinner.  We are here on a very important day.  Scotland is voting for it's independence today.  Andrena left right after dinner to count votes and she was going to be out till late.  Tomorrow we are going to drive out and explore nearby Balloch, Scotland.
