Last week Bennett made crafts inspired by the Eric Carle books. I did some research and found out that he was born in Syracuse, NY. I grew up not too far away in Ithaca, NY. We were practically neighbors! Anywho, I think these are all super cute. Although, I am not sure about this first one. I am thinking maybe it's just supposed to represent his art style.
"The Tiny Seed" is his fourth book as a writer and an illustrator.
His most famous book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." First published in 1969, it has sold more than 38 million copies around the world and has been translated into 58 languages. We read this one once a week. I love his tiny hands prints.
"The Grouchy Ladybug" lost an eye somewhere on the ride home from daycare. I guess it gives her a good reason to be grouchy.
