t-shirts

We are making t-shirts today for the family to wear to a July Fourth BBQ.  I am nervous to work with fabric paint because it's my first time.  Also, the t-shirts are white so I am anticipating a disaster.

Bennett's t-shirt went so smoothly that I had to pinch myself to believe it.  I am betting it helps that I am always putting paint on his hands and feet for our craft time.  His t-shirt is already looking great and needs no touching up.

Winston is anxious to get started on his onesie.

I had a hard time getting his hand print because he kept closing his hand into a fist anytime I put paint on it.  The paint dried very quickly too so I ended up with a faint outline of his hand on the onesie.  I did some touching up to make it look how I had intended.

My t-shirt went quickly as well.  It did need some touch up because the paint dried too quickly on me.

The t-shirts before adding the stripes.  Daddy's is missing because he will be doing his after he gets home from work.

And, after adding the stripes the t-shirts are looking very festive!  I cannot wait to wear these to the party.  We are going to turn heads.

I really enjoyed working with fabric paint.  The possibilities here are endless.  I think we may have to make some more t-shirts again soon.
