moore state park

It was a really nice day out for a walk in a park.  Nick found a park nearby with  nice walking trail, an old mill and a waterfall.

It turned out to be a perfect trail for strollers under a cool canopy of tall trees.

We love spending time outdoors whether it's walking or chasing Bennett.

 

There was a small rainbow at the foot of the waterfall.

Bennett liked running back and forth because the path to and from the waterfall was on the incline.  He is obsessed with inclines and ramps.

 The greenery and the rhododendrons surrounding the path and lake were beautiful.  They were very large and reminded me of the Ireland.  We saw a lot of them there as well.

Winston was a good boy and slept the entire time.  The park has hiking trails as well as a picnic area.  I cannot wait to come back here again more equipped for a hike or some grilling.
