I mean, there is scorpion and earthworm jerky! Who knew?
Outside the weather was improving with every minute. The tulips are blooming and Bennett's nose is running constantly. That doesn't stop him from smelling the flowers.
As soon as we neared Cupcake Charlie's, Bennett tried figuring out how to get in. He took off to the back of the store to find a door. He recognized the cupcake on the sign right away and said: "CUPCAKE."
We had to stop in and buy him one after all the effort he made.
After a couple of hours spent walking in and out of the shops along Main Street, we stopped at a park to enjoy the sun and let Bennett stretch his legs.

He really liked playing with this fountain. I didn't mind until he started picking up dirt with his wet hands which we then had to wash off and it turned into a vicious cycle.
The blooming magnolia trees are beautiful this time of the year.
There were a lot of people out walking their dogs. Bennett loves dogs!

It was getting late so we went to Kilwin's and got some ice cream and fudge before heading home. I wish Kilwin's was closer. I love their homemade ice cream.
I hope to come back to Newport again soon. Bennett had such an amazing time that he passed out mid-snack on the car ride home.

BANTIK naping :):):)
