homemade bubbles

Bennett and I were home alone tonight.  Daddy went to a Bruins game 7 with our friend Steve.  I thought it was the perfect time to take on a small project.  I was reading earlier in the day on Pinterest about making your own mix for bubbles.  Bennett has a lawn mover toy that use a lot of bubble mix. Bennett loves his lawn mover.  I figured it would be nice to make your own instead of having to run out every time he needed more.  Especially, since it's so easy and convenient.  The recipe is three ingredients.  It took me about five minutes to make.  Here is the link to the recipe: diy-homemade bubbles.

 I tried using it right away but the ingredients were hot so it didn't work very well.  I did manage to make some bubbles though.  Bennett loved chasing them around the porch!
