black eye

I was cleaning the dishes when I heard a loud noise followed by Bennett's crying.  I rushed over to his play room to find him face down on top of the elephant toy.  He was climbing on a shelf and lost his balance.  He landed on the toy and when I picked him up I saw blood around his eye.  I was worried his eye was hurt but after he had stopped crying I could see his eye was fine.  He did have a couple of nasty scratches around it though.  They don't seem to bother him.  It looks like he got into a fight.  I so wish I could have been there to catch him.
