family reunion

In the morning we met up with Nick's mother's side of the family for brunch.  It was overcast again.  It was nice to see uncle Ed and aunt Kristie for the first time in about five years.  We caught up for a while before heading over to grandma Betty's house.

Bennett was napping when we got there.  It warmed up by the time he woke up so we took him to a park within walking distance of grandma Betty's house.

Bennett really enjoyed running free and swinging.  Since we had sometime we went to visit greatgrandpa John at his nursing home.  He was napping so we went to Nick's aunt Mary Janes's for dinner.  It was sad we didn't get a chance to say "Hi" or "Bye" because later that night (about 7PM) Bennett's greatgrandpa passed away.  We hope he is in a better place now.  Rest in peace.
