The waves were his favorite. He babbled and pointed each time they would rush toward him. Once they made contact he would laugh hysterically.
He was doing well on his own. Some of the waves were pretty strong though and he needed our help to stay up.
Soon enough Bennett and Nolan were ready for some digging in the sand. The boys had started working on a water hole.
Not to be outdone, Cait and I built one next door. Bennett and Nolan liked "helping" by straddling the walls of the water holes.
All the digging made us hungry. Bennett and Nolan enjoyed some chips, applesauce, raisins, pirate booty, cookies and milk. Both of them were covered in sand.
Nolan was so excited about his cookie. He was going: "Mmmmm Mmmmm" after every bite.
B running back in right after lunch. He sure loves the beach.
Nolan braved going into the water as well. He didn't go in as far as B because he didn't like the cold water.
Nolan running in circles around Cait.
B taking a break. His lips were purple at this point.
Both Bennett and Nolan looked like they were ready to crash. Bennett was fighting sleep and we played in the sand for a little while.
Finally, he crashed.
The sun helped us feel better. I am looking forward to getting home and putting my feet up myself.

what a great day. i love my beach boy! he is so brave! you look just like your mom in that one picture of you and B.
