Maeve and MB came over to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon with Bennett and I today. Nick was at the candle shop and Mike was working. Bennett and Maeve played around each other. Occasionally they would have an altercation over a toy but otherwise they would play separately. It's cute how kids don't really acknowledge other kids at this early age.
They loved playing on the porch and snacking. They would both stop for a drink break or a snack break around the same time.
Maeve loved climbing onto the table and watching B as he played.
Bennett likes to hide behind the glass. We pretend we don't see him and say: "Where is Bennett?" until he pops his head out from behind the door. Then we announce: "Here he is!" and he laughs and laughs. Maeve thought this game was a ton of fun and started to copy Bennett.
I wish I got a good picture of them both squishing their faces against the glass.
Even Max got a little snacking done with these two around.
Then, Bennett showed Maeve how to climb into the porch stand. They had just enough room for the two of them.
After daddy and Mike came home the fun continued until it was dinner time. Bennett climbed into a box. Maeve did not like this idea because she did not copy him this time.
Murphy came over too.
It was so nice to just spend the day relaxing after such a hectic week of driving.
