gymnastics

We signed Bennett up for a gymnastics class on Monday nights.  Today is his first day.

He really enjoyed the toys in the waiting area before going in for the class. 

The kids all sat in a circle to stretch once class started.  Bennett did not want to sit still.  

He complained the entire duration of the 45 minute class.  He does not like to follow directions.  He wanted to do his own thing and run around and explore.

The instructors had two different areas set up.  The group splits into two.  Each group has about 4 children.  Each child goes through one area which has 4-5 different exercises set up like walking along the bar or jumping on the trampoline.  Then the groups switch areas.

Winston and I watched Bennett and Nick from the waiting room. 

Bennett had more fun playing with the train in the waiting area than in the gymnastics class.  We are going to give the class a month to see if he likes it better.  We enjoy getting him out and interacting with children outside of his daycare.
