We kept it low key Friday night and had dinner at home. Then we spent the evening catching up on all the happenings with us and with them. The kids got along great. Kaitlin got a little jealous of Bennett and her toys but she let up pretty quickly.
Up bright and early on Saturday we were all feeling tired. I knew we shouldn't have stayed up until midnight. The cinnamon rolls, munchkins and hot tea helped us feel like humans again. We still had to do something about that hair of ours though.
Although, Kaitlin wins this morning's hair contest hands down if you ask me.
We took our time getting ready. The kids were having way too much fun playing together. Ali and B did some coloring.
Bennett helped "get" the crayons out of the box.
Kaitlin and Ali did some laundry, which can be fun if the only thing you had to do was throw clothing down the stairs.
Bennett double-fisted with the popcorn popper.
Then it was time for Ali to do her make up. She got some from her grandparents for Christmas. Kaitlin helped.
In the meantime, Bennett and I had a munchkin for a snack.
Once the rest of us got good and ready, we headed out to the L.L.Bean outlet in the nearby Freeport, ME. There store here is huge. It also has a cool fish tank at the entrance.
There is bubble where kids can stick their heads in to take a closer look at the fish in the tank.
There were a lot of different salmon types in here. Some of which I have never heard of like golden salmon.
Bennett fell asleep in the car on the way over so he missed looking at all the fishes.
We continued exploring the store and did some shopping. We saw a trout pond as well. And, last but not least we checked out the moose display. This is Ali's favorite.
Check out who decided to finally join us.
He loved looking at the moose.
This is what was happening in the background in between all of the nice pictures. It made me laugh how much of a disaster our outings really are in comparison to my posts.
It was getting close to nap time so we left the store to get some lunch. We had to take some picture by the famous boot on the way out.
The rest of the day was low key. Linda and I went to a flea market. The rest of the crew napped. We made a nice dinner and watched "Guardians of the Galaxy." Well, Nick and Jake watched...
Sunday morning we left right after breakfast fearing traffic. Thank you so much for the hospitality to the Sylvesters. This weekend was just what we needed.

Wow !!! Sounds fun !!!
