wakeda sunday

This morning I woke up and looked at my phone to find out it was 7:00AM.  I was in shock that Bennett was still asleep.  He is usually up around 6:00AM when we travel.  I did not sleep very well because it got chilly outside during the night, and on top of that waking me up, I was worried about Bennett too.  I was constantly checking on him to make sure he wasn't too cold.

My little nugget was not even budging this morning.  Yesterday must have tuckered him out, or he loves sleeping outdoors on the chilly side.

So I snuck off with auntie Noel, who also couldn't sleep, to get some coffee and take Isa for a walk.  I was sure B would be awake when we got back a half hour later.  I was wrong.  He didn't wake up until almost 9:00AM.  Daddy and I were both very surprised but glad that he did so well sleeping in a tent.  

Sleeping outdoors make me hungry.  Shortly after B woke up we made bacon and eggs for breakfast sandwiches.  Bennett helped while he enjoyed a nice cup of milk for his breakfast.

He even got a pot and utensils out.

Thank you Daddy and Bennett for a yummy breakfast.

Sadly we had to pack up to leave shortly after eating.  Bennett loved playing with the pump for the mattress. 

At least it kept him occupied while we packed.

We had a great time and we hope to camp a lot more this summer and fall knowing how well Bennett does in the outdoors.
