Last night we had a big thunder storm. Both Nick and I woke up to a very loud sound of thunder around 2:00 AM. We were sure Bennett would too, but he slept right through it. This morning we learned that one of our neighbors had a tree come down on their house!
Bennett was in awe with the fire trucks, the police cars and the ambulance that arrived on the scene first thing this morning.
Although we don't know them, we hope that our neighbors are all right and their house didn't get too badly damaged.
Oh gosh, that is so scary. I hope they are all right! It's amazing what kids can sleep through, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you house and tress were safe and sound! We had a big storm as well and it always surprises me that kids can sleep through the loud thunder!!
