When in Washington... a wine tasting is a must. We wanted the best so we went to Chateau Ste. Michelle.
The tasting room was packed but we managed to get service and fairly quickly. I think my favorite was ALL of them. Feeling much warmer on this chilly, foggy and rainy day.
They don't actually grow many of their grapes here at the winery. Most of them are grown further south and brought here for processing and aging. Not a lot of grapes enjoy this murky weather. I can relate. These are some of the older grape vines still growing at the winery.
Since we were out... we hit up a few more spots like Red Hook and Woodinville Whiskey.
Woodinville makes a 100% Rye Whiskey which we really enjoyed.
