We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and a nice early supper. It was nice to see everyone.

family time
The Steward's drove out to Spencer today to spend some quality time with the kiddos. They did not get to see them last night. Aunt Linda has never met Bennett or Winston.
tractor rides with grandpa
Grandpa loves to give Bennett rides in the wagon hooked up behind his tractor.
And, so do I...
And, so do I...
Honestly, who wouldn't?
b and w visit greatgrandma irene
W has never met my grandmother Irene. We went to see her this morning at her nursing home. She was very happy to see us.
She really liked holding Winston. W did not mind either. He loves to be upright so he can look around at all the action around him.
Bennett kept us entertained with his usual shenanigans.
Grandma is doing well. She misses home. She did not remember me. And, she thought B and W were my mom's kids. Dementia is taking a toll on her memories.

We hope greatgrandma enjoyed the visit as much as we did.

sean and bella's wedding trip
We are in NY this weekend for Sean and Bella's wedding. My parents are watching the kids while we go to Buffalo to the wedding. We got to Spencer late last night. This morning we spent eating and playing outside in the garden.
Our trip home was a blur for me. Something to do with having too much without the kids. We missed them a lot but it was nice to have some time alone with Nick.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for babysitting.
Bennett loves bacon!
It's nearly impossible to take a picture of the grandparents and the kids looking.
Playing with the watering hose is Bennett's favorite.
Bennett's first carrot straight out of the ground from Grandma and Grandpa's garden. He actually ate most of it. We will be taking some of these home for sure.
Around noon we headed to Buffalo for the wedding.
Waiting for the bride.
The bridal party procession.
Here comes the bride...
The I-dos.
The afterparty with family and newlyweds.
Megan and Don, I mean Dan.
Aunt Linda.
The bride and groom dressed down for the night to eat some cake and play some video games at the afterparty.

dinner out
Tonight we braved a dinner out with the boys. It started out well until Bennett saw the lollipops at the hostess' stand. He had a 15 minute breakdown in the dining room with the rest of the crowd staring at us. Winston on the other hand behaved really well. He was all smiles.
I think we will be eating in for a while after tonight.

kaitlin's birthday trip
This morning we got up bright and early. We packed up and left for Camden, ME for Kaitlin's 2nd Birthday party. We are making a stop in Freeport, ME to do some sightseeing and shopping. Our first stop was at the nearby Yarmouth, ME to see Eartha. Eartha is the world's largest rotating and revolving globe, located within the headquarters of the DeLorme mapping corporation in Yarmouth, Maine.
They weren't open but we took some pictures and explored the grounds. Bennett found a bear.
All of the shopping made us hungry. We ate some lunch at Gritty's Brewery and Pub.
We made the rest of the trip to the party after everyone was happy and full. About half way the traffic slowed down for a good 3 miles because of Red's Eats. This hot dog stand is the most popular with tourists in Wiscasset, ME. Not so much with me because it annoyed me to sit in traffic for so long.
He was a friendly bear.
Bennett was having fun running along the yellow lines in the parking lot.
Our next stop was at the Land's End Outlets in Freeport. We needed to stop for some breakfast first at Frosty's Donuts. The shop has been open since 1965 so we figured they have been doing something right.
They had a make your own donut bar! We made a chocolate frosted donut covered in m&m's for Bennett.
Bennett was really excited for his donut.
The donuts are huge and delicious. I don't think Bennett tried his. He only ate the m&m's he picked off the top.
Winnie missed out on breakfast.
He did not seem too upset about it. He got to highjack the stroller while we were doing some shopping at Land's End and Bennett was busy running around.
The kids area at the Land's End Outlet has a play house and bridge. Bennett loved doing loops on the bridge.

We made it to the party and had a blast. Kaitlin is a very busy two year old.
Heading back home we had great sunset views. The boys passed out right away. It was a wonderful day trip.
