The second week we spent with Grandma. She came down on Sunday to stay with us through Saturday. Grandma was of great help. She brought all kinds of goodies for us to eat. And, she made us some delicious meals this week like crepes, "russian" wedding soup and pierogies. We also learned how to use our kitchen aid to grind meat. It's really easy and much cheaper than buying pre-ground meat. In return we got grandma addicted to Gossip Girl. She even signed up for Netflix so she wouldn't miss any episodes.
Grandma and I went out a couple of times during the week as well so I could get used the idea of leaving the house with B. We went to his photo shoot on Tuesday. The pictures turned out great. I can't wait to post them in a couple of weeks. And, Thursday we went to see the daycare provider we picked. I wanted my mom to meet her so I could get a second opinion. We had a nice chat with her and met some of the kids she watches. I think my mom approved. It's going to be so hard to leave him the first few times in the hands of a stranger. Too bad I can't stay home with him longer.
At the end of the week we got a lot of snow. Nick was home on Friday because we expected so much snow. It started snowing at 9 o'clock in the morning and didn't stop until Saturday around noon. We ended up getting 29 inches of snow in Auburn! Luckily we didn't lose power. I don't know what we would have done had that been the case.
hehe the tv sure becomes your new best friend when you're on maternity leave doesn't it! i have never seen gossip girl!

It's great to hear you doing so much and getting the hang of everything so quickly with a newborn. I'm glad you are getting out and having visitors. So glad you never lost power with that snow storm!!
