decorating the tree

First are the lights.

 

Second, third and fourth are the ribbon, star and ornaments.  Bennett got scared when he couldn't reach the top of the tree.   

Winston tried but also got scared. 

 New tradition is Daddy puts the star on the tree.

Fifth is the tree falls down and leans against the wall while Daddy runs out to buy a bigger tree stand.

Last but not least Winston takes his pants off... LOL

We cut down our Christmas tree today.  The boys "helped" pick it out and pack it up to take home.

 

It didn't take long for us to find our tree.  Surprisingly, a lot of trees were already cut down.

 

Nobody wanted to take a picture with Mommy next to our tree.

It took Daddy less than a minute to cut the tree down.

 

All we need to do now is get it home and decorate!

We spent our day making a pumpkin pie, a mandarin glazed ham and playing.  It was a nice low key family day.  The boys helped with the cut outs on the pie.

They did not want to try the ham or the sweet potato casserole.  Their loss!  Of course, as soon as we sit down Winston asks us for a milk refill.  We are thankful for many things this year: our new house, my new job, our health, our boys and the upcoming new addition to the family.  I am not sure how we are ever going to top this year in the future.  It will be very tough.

Bubble bath in the big bath tub is a perfect ending to a fun day.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Found these flamingos migrating South in our front lawn this morning!  This neighborhood is so much fun!

Feeling uncomfortably huge these days and hoping baby girl makes her appearance sooner than later!

alex's party at laser craze

Bennett is having a blast at his friend Alex's party at Laser Craze today.  Alex is a friend from Little Stars.    

Bennett really enjoyed the Space Invaders at the arcade.  I wish we could play this at home.  I really enjoyed it too!

xena's birthday party

We are at the Ecotarium celebrating Xena's second birthday!  

The boys had a lot of fun making the masks!

They wore their tails today.  Earlier this year they refused at another birthday party we attended here.
