trick or treating in grafton center

Our neighborhood did the trick or treating during the weekend.  Tonight we are downtown Grafton to do trick or treating at the mansions.  The owners go all out every year with decorating and the offerings.

We all picked up some freshly made popcorn at this house.

I am glad we came early.  The line for the popcorn house 15 minutes after we got there is out into the street.

This house gave out wine and beer for the adults, and cotton candy for the kids!  The line was long but having that drink helped (well, helped Nick).

The three stooges.

Winston wanted to be held most of the time.  I think he was a little scared of it all.  He did enjoy the cotton candy.  So sticky!

This house (below) wins best decorated in my book!  They are playing a movie on a projector screen in the front lawn.

There is a graveyard with smoke makers for a spooky affect, a man in a coffin pretending to be a live vampire, a witch you can take pictures with, spiders, webs and ghosts!

The vampire in the coffin got me.  I thought he was a fake until he jumped up at me.  I screamed!  Nick heard me from the sidewalk.

We had a blast with our favorite Brookmeadow Village crew tonight!  Happy Halloween!

baby sprinkle

I was honored today with a baby sprinkle at Cait's house.  Thank you to the hosts and everyone that came out for baby girl.  I am truly blessed!

Cait's new kitten got a lot of attention.

The play dough babies are amazing.  The cabbage patch baby is the winner!

Mr. Scary tried on baby girl's new headband after the party.  Somehow he is not as scary with that headband on his skull.

brookmeadow village's halloween block party

So much delicious food at the Halloween block party today.  Everyone contributed something and the spread is impressive!  There are also plenty of activities like the bouncy house and the magician for the kids.

Thank you Cindy and Bill Hillman for hosting!

Seems like everyone from the neighborhood is here.  There are at least 100 adults and it seems just as many children.

Mostly just the kids dressed up.  Everyone is going trick or treating around the neighborhood after the party.

Winston "avoiding" the group shot.  I think taking a picture of the adults taking a picture of the kids is hilarious.

The boys are ready for action!

First things first: punch the spiderweb...

The only picture I have of the boys trick or treating from a neighbor... Daddy "forgot" to take pictures!  What a fun day!  Looking forward to doing it all over again next year.  Happy Halloween!
