Our day trip to Savannah started off on the playground in the Forsyth Park.
Forsyth Fountain at the north enterance.
First Girl Scout Headquarters in the US.
The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. It is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah.
We took the trolley tour around the city which was great due to the hot weather. The boys enjoyed riding on the "train."
City Hall with a 70-foot gold leaf dome & interior fountain.
Savannah's smallest house on Greene Square.
Lunch at the Pink House.
Leopold's for dessert.
Pralines for souvenirs.
The location of where the Forrest Gump bench used to sit. It would cause traffic jams and accidents as people drove by which is what got it removed. It was slowly being taken apart by tourists anyway. Everyone wanted a piece as a keepsake.
Naps on the way back to Hilton Head. The boys had a good time in Savannah. I love coming here.
