savannah, sc

Our day trip to Savannah started off on the playground in the Forsyth Park.

Forsyth Fountain at the north enterance.

First Girl Scout Headquarters in the US.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.   It is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah.

We took the trolley tour around the city which was great due to the hot weather.  The boys enjoyed riding on the "train."

City Hall with a 70-foot gold leaf dome & interior fountain.

Savannah's smallest house on Greene Square.

Lunch at the Pink House.

Leopold's for dessert.

Pralines for souvenirs.

The location of where the Forrest Gump bench used to sit.  It would cause traffic jams and accidents as people drove by which is what got it removed.  It was slowly being taken apart by tourists anyway.  Everyone wanted a piece as a keepsake.

Naps on the way back to Hilton Head.  The boys had a good time in Savannah.  I love coming here.

hilton head, sc

We are off to Hilton Head today.  The boys are very excited to got on the airplane.  Bennett is not looking forward to going to the beach.  He keeps telling us: "It's dangerous.  There are crabs.  It's very dangerous."  I am certain when he gets there he will change his mind.

The boys studied up on the emergency procedure prior to take off.  They both did well on the flight.

Ah vacation!  Our resort gave out champagne and goodie bags for the kids on arrival.

My feet are ready to relax!  Sitting all day has them all swelled up.

Our hotel room has a great view of the ocean.  I cannot wait for the sunsets and the sunrises.

The beach was a great success.  Bennett enjoyed the sand and the ocean.  Winston was scared of the waves.  He ran away from the water.  I tried holding him and going in but it didn't work.  Winston is afraid of the waves.

Winston "playing with" daddy and Bennett but away from the water!

Breakfast with a view.  Boys really enjoyed the Fruit Loops.

Winston loved the pool.  This was his favorite part of vacation.

Saying "Hi" to baby Sister.

The boys enjoyed the virgin drinks with Mommy.

Last walk on the beach before leaving for the airport.

Baby girl is 28 weeks.  This was a greatest week yet.  I wish I could take a 9 month vacation!

"Look Mama! Look!"

Bye sunny Carolina!  Thanks for the fun memories.  See you next time...
