halloween with the hunters

We are spending Halloween with the neighbors this year in Steve's neighborhood (Mike's dad).  Bennett is very excited to go trick or treating with Maeve.  After getting the kids dressed we headed out to meet the rest of the gang but not without pictures.  Lots of outtakes this year as Bennett did not want to stand still.

Then the crying started.

We finally bribed Bennett with some candy and got a half a smile out of him for a half a second.



The family pictures and the pictures with the neighbors did not go much better.

Maeve and Bennett took off for trick or treating right after a hug and a kiss.  So cute!



We joined the other kids (kids of our friends) in the neighborhood.  Bennett didn't have a problem posing for that picture.

He and Maeve had fun collecting candy.  It was a very cold night and only got worse as it got later.  We headed home after an hour and a half to warm up and eat some dinner.  The kids were complaining their pumpkins were heavy so I think they did well!



Happy Halloween and hope all of the kids came home with basket fulls of candy! XOXO

Playing with the neighbors is hard work.  It's really tiring.  Winston decided to "sit down" for a little rest.  We all wondered why he was so quiet all of the sudden.

In Boston tonight with some friends to see some carved pumpkins on display.  We can't go anywhere these days without seeing these two characters.

These were really neat combinations of multiple carved pumpkins stacked into a shaped display.
