Baba is here for the weekend!  She brought Christmas presents from cousins, aunts and uncles.  The boys are having a blast opening them all.

The boys and I had a fun day off together crafting, lounging and playing.

 Bennett enjoyed his Lincoln hat and Winston made an adorable Washington.  What a fun craft!

They did not enjoy posing for a picture.

That was exhausting! But, Mommy and Daddy had some fun with the hats after the boy's bed time.

valentine's day craft

We are making hand print hearts today with Xena.  It's quick and easy which is perfect for toddlers and babies.

The most challenging part is tracing their tiny hands.

Xena and Winston had some fun after all the hard work.  Work hard, play hard!

maeve's 3rd birthday party

Bennett was invited to Maeve's Birthday Party at Wicked Good Cookies today.  We have been talking about going all morning.  Bennett is very excited to see Maeve.

The kids got together to wash their hands before they pick out their cookie cutters.  

Maeve was being very shy.  

Now, that's a mixer! 

The kids got to cut their cookie shapes once back in their seat.

Daddy was in charge of pictures.

Bennett was crying a lot because we woke him up from his nap to come to the party.  And, Maeve's party was Thomas the Train themed so he wanted to play with the train on her cake.

Mommy's patience was being tested today.  We had to find a car and a train cookie cutters.  Bennett did not help much with the cookie cutting.  He loved decorating the cookies with the sugar.

Once the cookies were decorated, it was time for baking and cake.

 Taking a picture of these two was not easy.  Maeve wore the cutest shirt for her birthday.

Before leaving all the kids got to decorate the boxes with the cookies they baked.  They got crayons and Thomas the Train stickers.

Bennett decorated some... but he mostly ate cookies.

Winston was on good behavior as always.  Just a little jealous when Mommy was holding Mikey.  Happy Birthday Maeve!  Great party!  Thank you for inviting us.  Wishing you the best this year!
