At first I was upset when I walked into the living room.

But I cheered up right after ...

and the pants are off...

bennett's movie theater experience

We took advantage of Baba being around today to take Bennett to his first movie in the movie theater.
We are seeing Star Wars: Rogue One.  Bennett loved watching some of the other Star Wars movies.

Bennett is very happy to get some popcorn and candy before the movie.

He ran right in and made himself at home.

So far so good... waiting for the movie to start is the hardest.

Bennett did really well.  He didn't really pay attention to the movie.  He enjoyed playing games on Nick's phone instead.  We had to leave with about 45 minutes left of the movie because he got impatient.  It's a really long movie so I am not surprised.  A shorter flick would have been a better choice.

It's Christmas Day!  The boys are up bright and early.  Santa has definitely visited because the cookies were half eaten.  And, there were lots of presents under the tree...

The boys got busy opening the presents as soon as possible.

Stopping only for a minute or two to play with a toy or read with Baba.  They had all the gifts open in about an hour.

Baba wins with the biggest gifts.

Trying to take a picture of the boys by the tree with their new toys is a challenge.  Surprise, surprise! 

Bennett kinda of modeled but Winston is very distracting. 

We took the new toys outside for a test drive.  It was too cold to stay out there.  

Back inside we enjoyed the morning in pajamas and cleaning up the wrapping paper.  Thank you Santa for the wonderful gifts and the relaxing day off work.

the night before christmas

It's almost here, Christmas!  Baba is here!  It was a quiet evening.  We made a nice dinner. Afterwards the kids got to open their new pajamas and a couple of presents.

Bennett was very helpful and assisted Winston with his presents.

Sharing is so tough.  Especially when the toy is a car that sings, dances and lights up!

The boys were both obsessed with their new "transforming" car!

Before going to bed we left cookies out for Santa.  Bennett was having trouble keeping from eating the cookies himself. 

Good night and safe travels to Santa! I hope he likes our cookies enough to drop off some presents.
