winston's 6 month photo session

Our photo session in November happened outside!  The weather was absolutely gorgeous.  The fall colors are so beautiful.  Bennett really enjoyed getting out of the studio for a session.

He was busy playing with the leaves and the props while Lynn was busy snapping pictures.

Daddy and Bennett have a special bond. They have a lot of fun together.  Their favorite is wrestling.

My boys are adorable... period

Winston was so easy.  He smiled at the mere mention of his name.  Bennett was very affectionate and brought Winston leaves, pumpkins and kisses. 

Bennett loves apples.  Recently he learned how to grab them from the fruit bowl for himself.  We find half eaten apples all over the play room.

Winston is the happiest baby I know.  We are so lucky to have you in our lives Winston.  Our lives are richer with you.  Happy 6 months!

thanksgiving craft with baba

Baba is visiting us this weekend.  Baba and I wanted to make some turkeys for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.  I am going to put mine on the mantle in the living room above the TV.  We gathered some leaves from the back yard and got busy tracing hands, cutting and gluing.

The kids lost interest after about 30 seconds.  Baba and I stayed to finish the job.

I am quickly learning that crafting with toddlers means doing all the work yourself.  It does turn out very cute though!  That makes it worthwhile.  Gobble gobble!

winston's 6 months check up

Today we visited Dr. Beeler for Winston's 6 months check up.   Winston got a clean bill of health.  He is now 16 lbs and 25 inches long.  He got a shot but handled it really well.  Cried for only a few seconds after which he calmed down and fell asleep on the ride to daycare.  Winston is always smiling.  Smiling is his favorite.

Winston is almost sitting up on his own.  He is very close.  His favorite foods to eat is food.  Winston has a really good appetite.  He eats and tries everything we put in front of him.  

He is a really good sleeper.  Winston sleeps through the night.  We didn't have to sleep train him.  He falls asleep on his own while drinking his bottle as I rock him and read a book.

stickers and trains

Bennett's two favorite things right now are stickers and trains.  His number one thing is to combine them together.

Oh, and snacking... That's his number three thing.

outdoor fall fun

This morning Daddy is leaf blowing.  He blew a bunch of leaves together into a pile for Bennett, Maeve and Ryan to enjoy.

The leaf pile was a HUGE hit.

Baby Brooke enjoyed watching the kiddos playing and jumping and laughing.

Ryan enjoyed throwing the leaves at his mom and sister.

Winston thought the leaves were curious.  He enjoyed crumbling them with his hands.
